Description

If you are looking for a simple relaxing ride through a beautiful and historical area then this is the place. Paved trail, which is shared by walkers extends for approx. 4.7 miles into Ohio's only bike trail in the state's Nature Preserve system. This trail is an out and back trail and is mile marked. Terrific scenery for photo's. Preserve sits on 965 acres and parallels the Licking River, a favorite of kayakers and canoers.

Directions

From I-70 at Zanesville, take S.R. 146 west, past Dillon State Park. Continue on S.R. 146 to Toboso Rd(SR273). Turn Left onto S.R.273 continue to intersection of 273 and 278. Black Hand Gorge is at the intersection.
